This is a play directed and played by a scenario that is built out of adapted text from Danil Harms short stories. These satiric stories on Russian writers are giving an overview on the political situation in Russia as well as on the relations between writers themselves (living or dead) in the sense of literature.
The approach in acting and directing is attached to the avant-garde and surrealist spirit of the material used, none of the participants being professionally involved with theatre. Performing the rehearsal before each act of the play, with self-made and improvised stageproperties gives an image of a spontaneous and ad-hoc work which this play, actually, is not.
